Karla Septic AW 2010 : Dreamer
A great looking collection titled “Dreamer” by Australian designer Karla Septic for A/W 2010. The collections refreshing palette of color blocked looks is not what you would expect for fall/winter but then again it is always great to someone feeling something a bit different than the others. There are also some great constructive elements within the collection that make it stand out from the crowd.

A-line dresses in silk and fur , oversized belted padded coats and jackets, silk suits like a superlong coat in cushioned oversized and transformable styles, oversized vests in padded silk and fur, superlong delicate a-line dress, geometric shapes in dresses and tops, vintage denim painted with latex describe the shapes that made their way into Kostas Murkudis’s FW 2010 collection.

One year after her Central Saint Martin’s MA graduation Laura Mackness just teamed up with Swedish label Weekday for a collection that sees her hand drawn print design signature onto cut and sew t-shirts and leggings.
Synesthesia Collection by Iris Van Harpen
Entitled ‘Synesthesia’ the latest Iris Van Herpen A/W10 collection is amazingly detailed, laser cut leather on one side, gold or bronze on the other side, I cannot imagine how much time it takes to be able to create those perfectly balanced pieces. Like something a warrior goddess or superhero would wear!
